About GAMSAT 2019 – Know Online Here!
The Graduate Medical School Admission Test 2019 is a test to assess the capacity to undertake high-level intellectual studies in a demanding course. GAMSAT is offered twice a year, in March and September. GAMSAT is a paper-based test.
The process of applying for admission to the graduate entry programs is separate from the process of registering to sit the GAMSAT test and takes place later. There are two separate steps in the process of application to graduate-entry medicine:
The first step – sit the GAMSAT test
Second step – March to May 2019 submit the application to the applicable educational institution(s)
The only way to register for GAMSAT is online via the website https://gamsat.acer.org. To register you need an online account with a valid email address and a credit card. This email address will be used for all communication from the GAMSAT Office, including information on how to access your Admission Ticket and GAMSAT results. Select the GAMSAT test that you wish to register for, fill in the online registration form and submit the payment.
Before completing your registration you will be asked to confirm that you have read this GAMSAT Information Booklet 2019 and specifically the Legal Notice, and that you agree and accept the terms and conditions of participation in the GAMSAT test and specifically the Legal Notice.
Upon successful completion of the registration, a registration confirmation and payment receipt will be sent to your registered email address. Please ensure that the spelling of your name listed in your confirmation email match the identification document that you will present on the test day. The status of your registration and personal information can always be checked through your online account.

GAMSAT 2019 Eligibility
- To sit GAMSAT 2019 you must be a bonafide prospective applicant to a course for which GAMSAT is a prerequisite.
- There is no limit to the number of times a bona fide candidate may sit GAMSAT.
- GAMSAT is available to any person who has completed a Bachelor or an undergraduate honours degree, or who will be in the penultimate (second-last) or final year of study, at the time of sitting the test,
- or, in the case of applicants to University of Exeter Medical School and University of Plymouth Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, who believes he/she has achieved an appropriate level of intellectual maturity and subject knowledge to meet the demands of the test.
- *The test is also for those for whom it will be more than two full academic years from the time they completed their level 3 (A-level or equivalent) studies.

GAMSAT Result 2019
Candidates will receive email notification when their gamsat 2019 results become available through their online account. Candidates are advised to save and print a copy of the Statement of GAMSAT Results for their records. Statement of GAMSAT Results is accessible for two years in the candidate online account.
The overall GAMSAT Score will be calculated using the following formula:
Overall Score = (1 x Section I + 1 x Section II + 2 x Section III) ÷ 4
The currency of GAMSAT Results
GAMSAT results obtained from different settings are directly comparable and can be used when applying to certain universities for up to two consecutive years. This means that candidates may apply for admission to the graduate entry schools up to two years after the date on which they sit the test.
