Anna University Invites application form for the academic session 2019 Batch from the eligible candidates. Anna University centre for distance education (CDE) Chennai is UGC DEB Recognised and it provides MBA, MCA and M.Sc (CS) Degree Programmes. The candidate who is interested to take admission in this course under Anna University CDE can apply for the course till 17 Feb 2019 via online mode. Anna University will take admission based on DEET 2019 examination. DEET 2019 will be held for the MBA and MCA programmes. There will be no entrance test for M.Sc (CS) Programme.

DEET 2019 Eligibility
For MBA:
- Any Bachelor Degree and Clearance of Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) Conducted by Anna University / TANCET 2018(MBA).
* The Bachelor Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3 pattern
For MCA
- A pass in any Bachelor Degree* with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Any Degree* with Mathematics as one of the subjects at plus two level.
- Clearance of Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) Conducted by Anna University / TANCET 2018(MCA).
- The Bachelor Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3 pattern
For M.Sc (CS)
- Any Degree* with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level or Any Degree* with Mathematics as one of the subjects at plus two level.
- The Bachelor Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3 pattern

- Candidates should carefully fill up the application form
- Candidates admitted to MBA/MCA/MSc(CS) Programmes of Distance Education are not eligible for any scholarship or fee concession from Anna University.
- Differently abled persons are exempted from payment of tuition fee for which they have to produce a certificate from the Chairman, District Medical Board in the prescribed form which can either be obtained from the office of the CDE or downloaded from the Centre’s website.

Selection and Admission Procedure
Candidates who are provisionally eligible for admission will be informed through counselling call letter based on their rank obtained in the DEET/TANCET. Candidates or their authorized representative should attend the counselling with all original certificates and Demand Draft towards 1 st semester fee.
(i) Selection is based on the marks in the Entrance Test (DEET Rank) / TANCET 2018.
(ii) Based on the rank Study Centre/Specialization will be provisionally allotted through counselling as per the choice of the candidates subject to availability of seats.

The question paper is designed to test the capability of the candidates in the following areas:

For MCA
The question paper is designed to test the capability of the candidates in the following areas:
1. Quantitative Ability 2. Analytical Reasoning 3. Logical Reasoning 4. Computer Awareness 5. Verbal Activity, Basic Science, etc.
Question Paper Pattern and Evaluation Scheme
- The question paper contains 100 objective type questions to be answered in 2 hours.
- While evaluating the answers, one mark is awarded for each correct answer.
DEET 2019 Hall Ticket
The Admit Card of DEET 2019 will be upload online on the official website. If any candidate is not able to download the admit card he/she must inform the department. The DEET 2019 Hall Ticket is very important to carry for the exam. DEET 2019 Hall Ticket will be available at least 10 days before from the exam date.
